Agnes Hembree

Athens Agnes B. Hembree, 78, of Athens, died April 24, 2011. A native and lifelong resident of Athens, she was the daughter of the late Robert F. and Maybelle Toney Bradberry. She was the widow of J.W. Hembree, and was also preceded in death by a son, Randall Mark Hembree, and brother, Troy Bradberry. She was retired from Thomas Textile and was a member of Whitehall Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James "Jimmy" Robert and Debbie Hembree, of Winterville; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday April 25, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Lord & Stephens Funeral Home Chapel, East, with Rev. Buford Lockman officiating. Interment will be in Whitehall Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Hembree, Rusty Hembree, Scott Hembree, Zack Hembree, Gerald Bradshaw, and Jeff Hammonds.
