Agnes Davis

Agnes Irene Allen Davis, 83, of Athens, GA, passed away from this life peacefully on the afternoon of December 3, 2013. A native of Clarke County, Ga., she was the daughter of the late William "Bill" and Jessie Allen. She was a member of Princeton United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Charles L. Davis, and brothers, Albon, Clarence, and Glenn Allen.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, and close longtime friends, Dot Whitehead and Mable Daniel.
She and her husband, Charles, co-founded Athens Janitor Supply, starting out as a small company which grew successfully into one of the largest janitorial supply companies in the southeast.
She loved and was loved much by her family and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Friday, December 6, 2013 at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East with the Rev. Russell Repetske officiating. Burial will follow at Oconee Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
