Adriana Francina Strydom

Adriana Francina Strydom (nee Lombard) went home to be with the Lord and her husband, Ben on April 9th, 2020. Riana was born in Frankfort, South Africa on July 16th, 1934.
Riana is survived by her children. Anette Mccaffrey, Erik Strydom, and Ansie Meintjes. She also had several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jaco Steenkamp, Lourika Steenkamp, Christelle Strydom, Adelle Schenk, Benita Sanders, Frankie Mccaffrey, and Sean Mccaffrey.
Riana loved life. A passionate conversationalist, she enjoyed exchanging views with acquaintances, friends, and family. She would often fondly reminisce about her lifelong love for her husband, Ben Strydom, and the enjoyable times they experienced across the length and breadth of her native South Africa. A committed gardener, she could always be found outside working the soil or quietly conversing with her constant companions: her dogs. She was a cook, who always had a place for a friend. She was passionate, and always willing to share her opinion on the news of the day. She was a cherished mother and grandmother who will always be remembered and missed.
