Addie B. McCannon

Addie B. McCannon, 86, wife of the late Paul F. McCannon, Jr., died Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Born in Colbert, GA, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Bolton and Lorene Martin Bolton and sister to the late Lula Bell Johns.  Mrs. McCannon and her husband Paul were the owners of Comer Cleaners.   She was a member of Comer Baptist Church and member of the Order of the Easter Starr and the Comer Lions Club.  Survivors include her sons: Tim McCannon of Comer and Bob (Karen) McCannon of Colbert ; sister: Dorothy "Dot" Gordon of Athens; grandchildren: Kimberly (Joshua) Medina, Cole McCannon and Chase McCannon and two great grandchildren: Zachary and Brooklyn Medina.  Funeral services will be held Friday, February 22, 2019 at 1PM at Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel with Rev. Marty Jacobs officiating.  Interment will follow at Comer Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11 until 1 prior to the service at the funeral home.
