Watkinsville - Adam Reese Haggard, 20, died January 25, 2008.
Born in Commerce, he was raised in Oconee County and attended Oconee County High School. He was at home in the outdoors and loved the mountains and camping. Adam was an avid music fan and among his favorite bands were Widespread Panic and Yonder Mountain String Band.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 4:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel West with Rev. Douglas Duncan officiating. Interment will be at Beaverdam Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Janet and John W. Oglesbee of Watkinsville; father and step-mother, Randy and Melinda Haggard of Colbert; brother, Cory Haggard of Watkinsville; half sister, Jessica Dawn Pittman (David); half brothers, Christopher Shad Boswell (Charity) and Randall Clay Haggard; step sisters, Jennifer Oglesbee (Dan Alamia) and Melissa Oglesbee; nieces and nephews, Douglas Boswell, Sydnee Boswell, Lily Pittman and Tristan Nix.
