Ada Elizabeth James

Ada Elizabeth James, 81, wife of the late Horrace James, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012.
A native of Athens, she was the daughter of the late Hallie E. and Amanda Conally Lewis. She was also preceded in death by her half brothers, James William Williams and Young Hoyt Carithers. She retired from DairyPak as an inspector and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her son: Gary "Bud" James; daughter: Carolyn James; and special friends, Mike and Jan Palmer.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 11AM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Rev. Dennis Kesler and Rev. Tommy Moment officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Friday, April 27, 2012 at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Hospice House.
Lord & Stephens East is in charge of arrangements.
