June Jackson Arnold

June Jackson Arnold, 85, of Lexington passed away on January 31, 2024. Born on June 21, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Lowell Jackson and Irene Foster Jackson.
June, affectionately known as Mama June to everyone that knew her, was a quick-witted, loving woman who always put others before herself. She showed her love for others in many ways from planning special events for them to simply calling them “my darling” when they entered the room. June was a long time member of Lexington Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Lamar Arnold; son, Keith Arnold.
Survivors include her son, Ken Arnold (Sheila); daughter, Kris Harkness; sister, Jessie Mitchell; grandchildren, Mandy Smith (Jason), Blake Arnold (Jessica), Brandon Harkness, Steve Harkness, Marina Navel (Pollo), Russell Arnold (Victoria); 10 great grandchildren; her special friend of many years, Jennifer Ogle.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Clark Cemetery with Chris Wren and Pastor Matt Bartlett officiating. Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to Lexington Baptist Church to PO Box 302 Lexington, GA 30648 or Quiet Oaks Nursing Home Activity Fund at PO Box 613 Crawford, GA 30630.
