Beverly June (Wood) Gray

Beverly Wood Gray, 73, wife of 54 years to John Walter Gray, died Wednesday, June 29, 2022, peacefully and surrounded by her family. Born in Athens, GA she was the daughter of the late Issac Preston Wood and Sara Hammond Wood. Mrs. Gray was a member of New Covenant Worship Center and retired from the University of Georgia after 32 years. Survivors in addition to her husband include two children: Cindy Case and Chris Gray; brother: Walt (Pam) Wood and three granddaughters that she adored: Ayla Gray, Mackenzie Case, and Delanie Case. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 1PM at Lord and Stephens East Chapel. Interment will follow at Winterville Cemetery.
